A Journey to Overcome Weakness

My name is Melina, I'm 18 and i've been crossfitting since December of 2011. Since then I've become completely addicted to the lifestyle and community.

My love of food has grown exponentially since I started eating (mostly) paleo (most of the time).

So here's some stuff I find interesting, inspiring, or would just like to eat.

Literally crawled up the stairs for my shower.

Strength:

3x5 back squat (145)

3x5 bench (85)

Metcon:

8 rounds of tabata slamballs (20 lbs)

8 rounds of tabata rowing

Finished with 69 slamballs and 627 meters. 

I had the option of “upgrading” to the 30 lb ball with no extra air in it. Between the lack of bounce and the fact that it was fucking tabata, I decided to go with a 20.
