A Journey to Overcome Weakness

My name is Melina, I'm 18 and i've been crossfitting since December of 2011. Since then I've become completely addicted to the lifestyle and community.

My love of food has grown exponentially since I started eating (mostly) paleo (most of the time).

So here's some stuff I find interesting, inspiring, or would just like to eat.

300 meter Row

20 Wallballs (15 lbs)

10 Pull-ups (kipping)

Ever since starting crossfit I’ve hit PRs almost every week, but with deadlifts and squats I’ve been stuck around 160 for about a month now, so I’m dropping the weight and I’m gonna build back up again. 

As for the workout, the rowing and wallballs sucked as usual. But I did kipping pull ups for the first time in a workout, tore on my right ring finger, and finished last because of my slowness. And it was actually pretty satisfying.
