A Journey to Overcome Weakness

My name is Melina, I'm 18 and i've been crossfitting since December of 2011. Since then I've become completely addicted to the lifestyle and community.

My love of food has grown exponentially since I started eating (mostly) paleo (most of the time).

So here's some stuff I find interesting, inspiring, or would just like to eat.

I hate running, and running hates me.

For as long as I can remember.

WOD

OH press (65x5, 70x4, 65x4)

Then…

4x 250 m row 

4x 200 m sprint

Except the sprints didn’t happen. I did one, thought I was dying or about to puke or something, and it was kind of obvious that I was not feeling it, so Neil told me to sit down and do nothing. 

So I did the rows (fastest was 57 seconds) and one sprint (51 seconds). 

It reminded me of middle school gym class, when I was embarrassed no matter  what we were doing because I knew I couldn’t measure up. I’m kind of ashamed actually.
