A Journey to Overcome Weakness

My name is Melina, I'm 18 and i've been crossfitting since December of 2011. Since then I've become completely addicted to the lifestyle and community.

My love of food has grown exponentially since I started eating (mostly) paleo (most of the time).

So here's some stuff I find interesting, inspiring, or would just like to eat.

WOD

300 “single unders” for time (3:15)

Then 5 rounds of

10 DB snatches Right arm

50 m waiter walk (DB overhead)

10 DB snatches Left arm

50 m waiter walk

1 minute rest between rounds

Finished in 10:45 with a 30 lb dumbbell. 

Last time we did DB snatches, we did five at a time and I used a 25 lb weight. I am proud of the improvement.

During my warmup I was also able to string together a couple of kipping pull ups for the first time and do 5 unassisted ring dips. 

Feels gooood.
